Living Inside God's Love

(A Mechanical Engineer's Perspective)

Have you ever heard the preacher say, “Just Believe!” “Just have faith!” or “Yield not to temptation!”? Many don’t know precisely what belief, faith, or temptation are. I believe that everyone knows it when they see it. They can ask ChatGPT or some other AI. However, it would be useful to “see” them as structures that represent them. AI won’t define them that way. The Lady Justice Statue, which is not blind folded, is a good mechanical analogy of weighing evidence. This concept is important to life. The Bible indicates that God loves everyone. How we should respond to that love, that is, living inside God’s love, is somewhat mysterious. I’ve created a book that illustrates dynamic visual structural analogies, like the Lady Justice Statue, and other devices, to define belief, faith, temptation, and more. For example, I use the King James Version Bible phrases “God weighs the heart” and “God heals a broken spirit,” words “weighs” and “broken” as mechanical material properties to construct the mechanical models used throughout the book.

About the Cover

The gas for the pump is the breath of life that God has given each of us in Genesis 2:7. We all have a reservoir of this gas. If we don’t use it to pump up those elements, we don’t grow. Best practice is to pump up those elements by keeping God’s will in mind.
