Intro

Where are you in your walk?

I don’t believe in God, but I really want to believe.

Everyone believes in something. You might be saying there is no God. I can’t see HIM; I can’t touch HIM; I can’t taste HIM; I can’t feel HIM; Therefore, HE doesn’t exist. However, consider air. You can’t touch it; You can’t taste it; You can’t feel it; But, oh, just take it away!
Air is easy to detect when it moves, and my God is no different. Notice I said, my God. There is really only ONE true and living God. All the rest are fakes!

If God is real, how could HE allow such evil to go unchecked?

Just because evil seems to go unchecked doesn’t mean God doesn’t care. In fact, the most frequent thing you HEAR about is when evil goes unchecked. That makes news! Every time you HEAR of evil going unchecked, it stays in check many times you don’t hear about. Just because YOU allow something bad or evil to happen that you could have prevented, doesn’t mean you don’t exist.

So, who is your God and what is HE like?

I believe in God, but my belief doesn’t include Jesus Christ as Lord.

Jesus Christ is the most important representative of my God. Notice I said, my God. There is really only ONE true and living God. All the rest are fakes! To understand who Jesus Christ is, you must first understand who my God is. You must also understand if the God you believe in is REAL or FAKE, or just one that you heard about. If your God is REAL, then certain things should happen every time you approach your God. If those things don’t happen, then either:
(1) your God IS real, but you can’t communicate with HIM,
(2) your God isn’t real, or
(3) Your God isn’t real, but you were fooled into thinking it was real.

So, what should happen when I pray to my God?

You should find some relief from your sadness when you repent to your God for the evils you have done.

So, who is your God, and what is Jesus Christ like?

I believe in God; I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, but I need answers to my problems.

There are two parts to every problem:
(1) the problem and
(2) how you feel about the problem. The Lord may not solve your problem this instant, but He can deal with how you feel about your problem quickly.
Often, bad feelings about a problem can be broken down into:
(1) sadness,
(2) anger,
(3) fear,
(4) hatred,
(5) hopelessness,
(6) inadequacy,
(7) envy, or
(8) apathy
The second part of how you feel about a problem is who or what the OBJECT of your feelings is. That is, who or what caused you to feel this way? Whom do you blame?
The OBJECT of your bad feelings is CRITICAL. The more significance or importance you give to that OBJECT, the greater your bad feeling will be. Special prayers can help you get to the heart of the matter.

So, what are the special prayers?

I believe in God; I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord; I want a deep understanding so that I may convince others and become stronger myself.

Great, you’ve come to the right place. To bring someone to Christ, you must first be firm in your own faith. This requires a personal relationship with the ONE True and Living God. Then you must remember that THE Holy Spirit IN you is bringing them to Christ. Wait on the LORD for instruction. He will put on your heart what you need to say. With each word of wisdom from THE Holy Spirit within you spoken to others, awareness of your own sin will increase. Confess to the LORD what you feel right after you minister. This is critical to a good ministry. Remember that you are a sinner! Often, when talking to others who sin, we become self-righteous. This may be because of envy: we restrain ourselves from enjoying the “pleasures” of sin, and “they” don’t. This could cause BIG problems!

So, what is this deep understanding you have about God?
